He said that 4,339 students who scored 50 percent and above will be selected from all the zones of the state in the order of their results.

Meanwhile, preparations are being made to accept a large number of those who scored 50 percent or more and failed to enter universities in the region's teachers' colleges to begin teacher training in the regular degree program.

Another is that students who did not get the entrance score will take the exam again as normal students, which includes all the students of the region, and it is stated that this is only for the Amhara region in a special case.

The Amhara Regional Education Bureau has requested the Ministry of Education to extend the 12th grade exam period for 2014 so that the students who could not enter the universities or teacher's colleges can take the exam after adequate preparation.

According to the Ministry of Education's request, the regional education office has decided yesterday that the exam will not be given before September 2015.

The office urged the students of the region to make appropriate preparations knowing that the 2014 12th grade national exam will be given from September 20, 2015 onwards.
